We are excited to feature the work of Wichita artist Tarah Lynn Clark in our Front Gallery for the month of August.

Nature’s Contrast is a collection of work which explores the vibrance for nature from the artist’s point of view.

Tarah has been painting colorful florals, landscapes, and creatures that surround her here in Kansas. They have inspired her to capture and push the limits of their beauty with vibrant colors of flowing acrylic paint. Doing so allows the artist to give the piece raw movement, like it would have naturally, but from her perspective.

Once the movement of the piece begins, she layers on defined dark contour lines of India Ink, expanding on the textured contrast details that organically appear.

These statement pieces breathe life and beauty into a space and Tarah is glad to be able to bring them to you.
