2025 KIDS Summer Art camp
Join us for Kids Summer Art Camp at the Hutchinson Art Center
This summer camp series is what all the kids have been asking for! It’s perfect for any kid who wants to learn how to use art materials to make art THEY want to make! Students will be exposed to a variety of art materials and techniques so they can have the tools they need to take their imagination to the next level! Each class starts with a Mystery Media Material and 5 minutes to explore that media in whatever (appropriate) way they like! The focus of this art camp is experiencing and exploring, more than making a finished project. Each day of each week will cover different materials and the last day of each week will include an opportunity to combine all their favorite skills they’ve learned into a specific wrap up project. This year’s art camp will take place over June 3rd - 6th and June 10th - 13th. Students are divided into two groups: Group A (ages 6-9) and Group B (ages 10-12). Group A will meet from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, while Group B will meet from 11:00 AM to Noon at the Hutchinson Art Center. Grown-ups can sign up their children up for Week One (June 3rd - 6th), Week Two (June 10th - 13th), or both weeks. A single week costs $30 per child, and both weeks cost $60 per child.
Grown-ups can register their child by purchasing a spot using the button below. Hurry! Registration is limited to 15 students/group per week, with registration closing on Friday, May 25th at 4:30 PM.
The fabulous Hannah Beam returns to teach art camp this year!
Hannah Beam is a local Hutchinson artist who specializes in live painting and collaboration. Her background in art education, graphic design, and small business add unique perspectives to her practice. She studied art education at Hutchinson Community College and Wichita State University. When she's not having fun making art, she is having fun as raising her toddler son!

Group A: Ages 6-9, meets Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Group B: Ages 10-13, meets Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
